Laura Hughes, Psy.D., ABN
Dr. Hughes is a forensic and clinical neuropsychologist and is board-certified in neuropsychology by the American Board of Professional Neuropsychology. She has a doctorate in clinical psychology, post-doctoral training in neuropsychology, and extensive training and experience in forensic psychology. Neuropsychologists evaluate how changes in the brain affect behavior, learning, remembering and decision-making. Changes in the brain can happen normally during the lifespan or due to illness or injury. Her practice is primarily focused on neuropsychological evaluations and recommendations based on results to the client and their family or supports. Dr. Hughes practices in several locations including in St. Croix and South Dakota. Her family is in South Dakota, Arizona, and California primarily, and she travels between them often. When not working she is likely to be found outside anywhere there is sunshine and water.
