Jennifer Nelthropp, Speech-Language Pathologist

Jennifer Nelthropp is a speech-language pathologist (SLP) specializing in adult neurogenic communication disorders and dysphagia across the continuum of care. As a dedicated SLP, she helps adults improve communication, cognitive function, swallowing safety, and overall quality of life.

Jennifer earned her Bachelor of Arts from Middlebury College in 2012 and her Master’s in Communication Disorders from North Carolina Central University in 2020. Throughout her career, she has provided evidence-based speech therapy services in skilled nursing facilities, home health settings, outpatient clinics, and continuing care retirement communities.

As a speech-language pathologist, Jennifer specializes in the evaluation and treatment of adult cognitive-communication disorders, swallowing disorders (dysphagia), and neurogenic conditions resulting from stroke, dementia, Parkinson’s disease, and other neurological conditions. Her approach focuses on practical, functional goals that support independence and meaningful participation in daily life. Jennifer is passionate about helping adults regain confidence in their communication and swallowing abilities through compassionate, individualized care.
