Atalie Olsen has been in the field of ABA since 2014. While working on her my master’s degree, she conducted and published research in the area of socials skills for individuals with developmental disabilities. Atalie started her career developing an ABA model in a school system on a Native American reservation in Nebraska where she oversaw three severe behavior classrooms, developed school-wide behavior supports, and served on a leadership committee for school improvements. After 5 years in the school system, she worked as a BCBA in an Autism clinic in South Dakota with youth aged 2-18. After 2 years, Atalie became the Outpatient Behavior Therapy Development Manager with oversight of the outpatient ABA department and supervised the outpatient BCBAs. Overtime, she independently conducted in-home ABA, consulted with schools in the Midwest, provided community education to police departments, and contracted private BCBA candidate supervision. Atalie was drawn to the Virgin Islands for its natural beauty. Outside of work, Atalie enjoys going to the beach, kayaking, cooking, shopping, and yoga.
