Michele is a certified social worker, graduating from the University of Maryland with her Masters degree in Social Work. She has over 30 years of experience working with individuals, groups, and families across the life span with a variety of mental health and substance abuse related issues. In addition, Michele has many years of experience treating trauma related disorders, sexual offenders, anger/impulse control disorders, behavioral concerns, ADHD, and individuals on the Autism spectrum. Her approach is to create a trusting therapeutic environment where individuals can feel safe in their emotional healing by embodying the qualities of empathy, genuineness, and unconditional positive regard.
